Provide day to day operational and technical environmental, health, and safety (EHS) support to the organization. Pay rate open to experience!!
Education:
- B.S. in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related degree required, plus 2-5 years’ experience in environmental regulatory compliance or process safety in the metalworking industry preferred.
Qualifications:
- Microsoft Office
- General awareness of both State (NH Department of Environmental Services) and Federal (Environmental Protection Agency) environmental regulations, as well as OSHA safety regulations
- Willingness to obtain NH Department of Environmental Services Hazardous Waste Coordinator Certification within 6 months of start date
Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees (from senior staff to hourly workers), environmental regulatory agencies, vendors, and the public. Must be able to manage several projects simultaneously.
